Bioenergy is fuel made from renewable organic material. Our Grains & Oilseeds and Sugar business lines produce several bioenergy products and by-products.
Biodiesel
We manufacture biodiesel from a range of sources, from rapeseed in Germany, soybeans in Argentina and palm oil in Indonesia.
Ethanol
We process grains, oilseeds and sugarcane to make fuel ethanol that can be used, among other things, to power fuel cells and produce biodiesel.
Palm Fatty Acid Distillate
Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is a by-product of our palm oil refining process, used as a renewable raw material in biofuels production.
